Terms of Service

heyghe is currently in private invite-only beta. By accepting an invite and signing in to heyghe, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, don't accept the invite — and email hello@heyghe.com to be removed from the waitlist.

1. Beta status — no warranties

heyghe is offered "as is" during the private beta. We make no warranty that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time.
  • Every Instagram comment will reach our webhook handler within any specific time bound.
  • Meta's Instagram Graph API will continue to expose every feature heyghe depends on.
  • Any specific DM will be delivered (Meta retains the right to throttle or reject any send).
  • The product, pricing, or feature set will not change between beta and public launch.

You use heyghe at your own risk during the beta. We commit to fixing issues responsibly and communicating outages, but we make no SLA commitments while we're in beta.

2. Eligibility

You may use heyghe only if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You received an explicit invite from heyghe (we sent it to your email).
  • The Instagram account you connect is yours OR you have the explicit authorization of the account owner to use heyghe with it.
  • The Instagram account is a Business or Creator account (Meta's webhook APIs don't deliver events for Personal accounts).
  • You agree to comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram Community Guidelines.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use heyghe to:

  • Send unsolicited messages (cold outreach, spam). heyghe's design assumes every DM is a response to a viewer who explicitly typed your keyword.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any.
  • Send content that is illegal, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property rights.
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or content that exploits viewers financially.
  • Circumvent Meta's rate limits, the 24-hour messaging window, or any other Platform restriction.
  • Use heyghe to manage Instagram accounts that you don't own or have explicit written authorization to manage.

We reserve the right to terminate your access immediately if we detect violations of the above, of Meta's Platform Terms, or of applicable Indian law.

4. Meta platform compliance

heyghe is a third-party tool that uses Meta's official Instagram Graph API. Your use of heyghe is in addition to, and subject to, your acceptance of:

If Meta revokes heyghe's access to its API for any reason, heyghe will be unable to deliver service until the issue is resolved.

5. Your content + data

  • You retain ownership of every automation, DM template, image, and form submission you create with heyghe.
  • You grant heyghe the limited right to store, process, and transmit this content as needed to operate the service on your behalf.
  • We do not claim ownership of any Instagram comment, viewer profile, or other third-party data that flows through heyghe via Meta's webhooks.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time — see our Privacy Policy.

6. Pricing

heyghe is free during the private beta. We will give every active beta user at least 30 days' notice before charging for the service. If we introduce paid plans, the pricing will be flat or DM-count-based — never per-contact. We commit in writing that no beta user will be charged retroactively.

7. Termination

  • You can stop using heyghe at any time by disconnecting your Instagram account in app.heyghe.com/settings and emailing us for account deletion.
  • We can terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms, for legal reasons, or because the beta has ended. We will give you at least 7 days' notice unless the violation is urgent.
  • Upon termination, your data is deleted per the retention policy in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, heyghe (Pranav Bhatkar, the individual operator) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost followers, lost goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of heyghe — even if we were advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed ₹0 during the beta (since you are not paying for the service). If you have paid us money in the future, our liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Nashik, Maharashtra, India.

10. Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever these Terms change. Material changes will be emailed to every active beta user at least 14 days before they take effect.
